April Update

Well March was one crazy month. With so many people staying at home, Emerald Mitre10 saw unprecedented demand for home renovation projects all over the Hills.

While it is an uncertain time for us all, the one positive is that it has been exciting to see how many households are using this down time to work on their houses and gardens. There has been a high demand on paint, seedlings, packet seeds, garden bed materials, decking and storage products, as people work on making their homes and gardens places of comfort. It is also pleasing to see how many parents are helping encourage their children to get out in the sun and help in the garden.

There has been a strain on the supply of certain cleaning and safety products, and we are starting to see supply for these products start to return. Our team will do our best to let you know the second they become available instore.

To help people that are wishing to stay at home, the Co-Op launched our first contactless delivery option for retail and stockfeed sales. This gives families who aren’t wanting to leave their homes, or under isolation, the opportunity to grab essential items and our team will drop them at your doorstep.

Once we get through this difficult time it will be great to see the improvements made to homes across the Hills!

Stay safe.
